Even though we want to travel as simple as possible, we still won't be able to totally abstain from any kind of technology. We want to take photos and videos, therefore, we already need a whole bunch of SD-Memory cards and separate external hard drives. Obviously, as bloggers, we cannot go without a Netbook. Furthermore, besides paper maps of every region, we also take one GPS along with us. Charging batteries and GPS will be necessary many times. Not having to rely on power plugs in hotels and cafe's alone, we equipped or bicycles with the USB-Charger from Supernova - The Plug III. This way we are able to charge small applications like the GPS using the hub dynamo, which saves us a lot of batteries. Cycling at a velocity of 10kph is already enough to keep the GPS running. Besides the Plug III, we will also take two solar panels with us. The SwissSoalrcharger VOYAGER produces at its peak 20W, is water resistant and comes with a couple of adapters (iPhone/iPod/USBmicro/USBmini).
